A patentar registrado por Samsung indica un nuevo diseño para el futuro teléfonos inteligentes del fabricante coreano. Registrado en la Oficina Mundial de Propiedad Intelectual, el documento menciona un teléfono móvil con dos pantallas uno de ellos transparente y colocado en la parte posterior del dispositivo .
La patente también establece que la pantalla adicional se funde con el cuerpo del dispositivo, haciéndolo imperceptible cuando no está en uso. Presentada en enero, la patente se publicó esta semana.

Entre los diversos usos posibles de la pantalla adicional se encuentran mostrar información seleccionada por el usuario, como en dispositivos con una pantalla siempre encendida, e incluso usar la segunda pantalla para tomar selfies mientras viaja usando la cámara trasera del dispositivo.
Samsung no es la primera empresa en trabajar en este tipo de dispositivos. El ZTE chino lanzó un dispositivo similar en el pasado, llamada nubia x . En el caso del celular de ZTE, la pantalla extra tiene una alta opacidad para camuflarse cuando no se usa. En el caso de Samsung, sería una pantalla más parecida a las que tenemos en los celulares comunes.
Las patentes no se traducen necesariamente en productos de consumo reales, por lo que es posible que el dispositivo en cuestión nunca se lance oficialmente. Sin embargo, es un buen indicio de cómo empresas como Samsung buscan nuevas formas de interactuar entre el usuario y el teléfono móvil.
